Cape Cod Dart Training Modules
At CCDART we believe that well trained responders are a must and to that end we have created a training program that we consider to be one of the best in the nation for our volunteers. These modules will consist of both lecture/discussion and hands-on-experience, that will be taught by some of the best in that area of expertise.
LEVEL 1
CCDART 100 - Registration Module
CCDART 100 - Dog and Cat Handling Module
CCDART 100 - IS Module
CCDART 100 - Radio Communications Module
CCDART 100 - Disaster Response Module
CCDART 100 - Shelter Design and Setup Module
CCDART 100 - Shelter Health Module
*Each module will be approximately 3 hours long.
These training modules will be offered in an 7 week session beginning in March and cumulating with a clinic and shelter setup on the second Saturday in May, which is National Animal Disaster Preparedness Day, at this time new team members will be given a certificate of completion and a CCDART slip lead to add to their go kit.
CCDART will also offer IS-100 and IS-700 along with Basic Human First Aid, Companion Animal First Aid, and Basic Hazmat at various times over the course of the year, in order to assist team members and other volunteers to complete their Level 1 training.
CCDART also offers additional training to assist our team members in furthering their skills and achieving higher levels of training.
